Meet the Artist

I was born in 1981 in Daytona Beach, FL. Ever since I can remember I've always loved horses. Some of my fondest childhood memories are of times with friends and our horses at the places I borded. I was lucky to be able to grow up completely immersed in these wonderful animals and I'll always thank my parents for indulging me as a girl.

Art is something that has always come naturally to me, even as a child. I think it's in my gene pool. My mother is a genious with color, and my dad is the one with the drawing talent and ability to "see" things. I believe I got the best of both worlds! As with the horses, my parents indulged me and helped me grow as an artist by teaching me what they could and supporting me in all my artistic endeavors.

I've never been one to be content with what I know now. I like to dip my toes into a little bit of everything. I tried tennis for a bit along with snowboarding, earned a black belt in Taekwondo, went to college for a degree in Graphic Design, learned how to sew and quilt, the list goes on. I've got as many "how to" books in my library as story books! I love creating things and challenging myself. I feel most complete when I'm doing both.
